General Terms & Conditions
Family Membership
As a member of The Little Gym, your family is entitled to discounts on Birthday Parties, Holiday and Summer Camps, and special events. If you have opted-in to receive our promotional electronic communications, you will receive prior electronic notification of our events. Fees must be paid prior to enrolment and are non-refundable. For current members Friend Referral Discounts will be applied to the next monthly instalment payable.
Number of Classes Per Year
Your membership at The Little Gym Cambridge is year round and paid monthly, split into 12 equal payments. You will attend your regular class during term time. During our holiday periods we offer classes which are included in your membership. Payments need to be made with card via our AutoPay system. The Gym is open 50 weeks of the year. We close for one week at Christmas and the Easter weekend. During the 6 week summer holiday you will receive 6 ‘credits’ to use at The Little Gym Cambridge. These can be exchanged for classes and camps (3-12 years) during the summer holiday period.
Annual classes (term time and half term holiday) are valid until (need to be used by) the end of August of that academic year. For families joining part way through the academic year both term time and half term/holiday classes will be prorated to reflect the number of classes remaining in the academic year.
Make-Up Class Policy
Classes banked due to illness or holidays may be made up or converted into camp credits (over 3s only) up to 3 months after the date of the cancelled class or until the end of your notice period in case of cancellation, according to availability. Notification must be received prior to the start of the class for you to be entitled to a make-up class. Classes can be banked in person, by phone or via email and must can booked up to 14 days in advance of the date of the replacement class, so that we can manage vacancies.
Drop-In Classes (under 3 years)
Drop-in classes can be booked up to one week in advance of the class to be dropped into. Drop-ins can only be booked once any outstanding make up classes have been used up.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel your membership you will need to give us 1 payment month written notice via email after an initial enrolment period of one month.
Temporary Closure Due to Local or National Lockdown
Should local authority or Government temporarily close the gym we will continue the season with virtual classes. All membership terms and conditions will still apply and fees will continue to be charged.
General Policies
New Members
New members are welcome at any time subject to availability, instalments start on the day you enrol. Your child progresses at an age-appropriate pace receiving class recommendations during the school year.
Clothing
Children should wear comfortable clothing and must be barefoot to maximise safety and freedom. Jewellery, food and chewing gum are not permitted in the gym. Adults entering the gym are asked to remove their shoes (adults may wear socks). The Little Gym is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Responsibilities
We make every reasonable effort to ensure the safety of children in the gym and while they are in the lobby. Parents or legal guardians are ultimately responsible for seeing the safe entry and exit of their children.
Behavioural Issues
If a child is being disruptive, destructive, or dangerous to themselves, other children, or staff members during class or special events, we will make every effort to work with parents and the child in question to resolve this behaviour. If the behaviour persists or other undesired behaviours develop, the child in question will be asked to take a break from the class or event. Toys are not permitted inside the gym for safety reasons.

Specific Policies for OFSTED Approved Camp Sessions
Our half day holiday camps are OFSTED registered and parents are required to complete the appropriate paperwork prior to the camp. Please see our OFSTED policies in the gym. Camps are non-refundable/rebookable.
Camp/Events Bookings
Camps/Events must be booked in advance. We might not be able to accommodate on-the-day bookings. Camp/Event fees must be paid at the time of booking via our online booking system.
Cancellations & Refunds
Camps/Events are non-refundable. While customers can choose to cancel their attendance in writing via cambridge@thelittlegym.co.uk, no credits or refunds can be offered for cancelled camps/events.
Camp Observation
To optimise Health & Safety, and Safeguarding for all children, carers and teachers, The Little Gym camps are strictly drop off only. Parents, siblings and guests are not permitted to remain on the premises. Registration desk may be outside or in the lobby, depending on weather and government guidelines at the time of operation.
Responsibilities
We make every reasonable effort to ensure the safety of children in the gym. Parents are responsible for children’s safety in the car park and entry/exit areas. Parents/guardians are responsible for the safe entry and exit of their children from the property. No responsibility is taken for personal belongings within any area of our premises, including the car park. Please protect our children — no nuts to be brought onsite.
Behavioural Issues
If a child is being disruptive, destructive, or dangerous to them self, other children, or teachers we will communicate with parents and the child to resolve this behaviour. If the behaviour persists or other undesired behaviours develop, the child will be asked to take a quiet break. If the behaviours continue, we will notify the parent and a decision will be made on whether the child needs to temporarily take a break from camp. No refunds or credits can be provided in this instance. We reserve the right to refuse entry to camp if we suspect a child is unwell. No refunds or credits can be issued for children unable to attend their camp. Toys are not permitted inside the gym for safety reasons.
Clothing
Children must wear sports clothing and be barefoot to maximise safety and freedom in camp sessions. No jewellery or food in the gym. Earrings must be taped. Please no dresses, skirts, jeans or tights. Children under 4 years of age should bring a change of clothes in a clearly labelled bag. Shoes are to be removed and stored in the cubbies prior to entry to the gym in line with Health & Safety guidelines.
Food & Refreshments
Please ensure your child brings a water bottle marked clearly with their name. Children will be provided with a snack during the camp session.
Lunch Club
Children attending lunch club should bring their own packed lunch in closed and clearly labelled bag. If attending lunch club please provide your child with a nut free packed lunch.

Customer Public Health Obligations at The Little Gym Cambridge
We follow strict health and safety guidelines to protect our customers, staff, and the local community. In line with guidance from Public Health England, we ask that any child with a fever of 37.7 or higher stay home and refrain from joining Camps.
Parents must keep children home from camp if they have cold or flu symptoms, including but not limited to a fever, headache, nasal congestion, rash, cough, extreme fatigue or any other sign of illness. If children develop signs of illness during camp, parents will be called and children must be collected as soon as possible by parents. We reserve the right to refuse entry to camp if we suspect a child is unwell. No refunds or credits can be provided for cancelled or unattended camps.
